中米ベネズエラ、ラス・ピエドラス。500km先の油田で起こった火事を消すために、マリオら4人の荒くれ者たちが、大量のニトログリセリンを運ぶ仕事を請け負う。少しの振動で爆発しかねないニトロ。命懸けの仕事だが、4人は一攫千金に挑む。現場に向かう2台のトラック。その行く手に恐るべき難関が待ち構える…。
