은 재즈 트럼펫 연주가 쳇 베이커의 거친 삶과 경력에 관해 1989년에 만들어진 다큐멘터리로 최근 필름 상태를 복원한 작품이다. 일군의 팬들과, 예전 친구들부터 헤어진 부인과 아이들에 이르기까지 쳇 베이커에 관해서 이야기를 한다. 웨버의 영화는 재즈계의 거성 찰리 파커와 게리 멀리건과 함께 연주했던 그의 전성기 1950년대부터 그가 빈민굴의 마약중독자가 되어서 제대로 연주조차 할 수 없었던 말년의 모습까지 보여준다.
